Worldwide renowned Chinese composer and conductor, famous for employing extraordinary visual and audio methods, musical plays and collage creation. In 2001, Tan received Academy Award for Best Original Score in 73th Oscar. In 2006, Tan was chosen as one of the “ten most globally influential Chinese” by the world’s top 10 Chinese media. Tan also created the 2008 Beijing Olympics Logo Music and Awarding Music. He was Global Cultural Ambassador of 2010 Shanghai Expo.
