Deconstructing "Along the River at Qing Ming Festival", the work selects the most featuring section of the painting from architectures to furniture and blends in contemporary arts and designs to accomplish a reconstruction. On one hand, the work combines the classical with new media arts, and on the other reflects the prosperity of Bianliang City in Northern Song Dynasty.
Huang Jiancheng
From Changsha, Hunan province. Huang Jiang graduated from Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts with a Master’s degree in Decoration and Design. He gained a Master of Arts degree. Huang was later assigned to the Printmaking Department at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts as a professor at the Design Faculty. He is now the vice-president of the Design Institute at the Central Academy of Fine Arts as well as a professor and academic advisor for Master’s degree students. Huang is also the chief designer at the BJSD Space Design Institution, the deputy director of the Chinese Artists’ Association Environmental Design committee, a committee member of the Industrial Design Degree Teacher and Student Guidance Committee for the Ministry of Education and chairman of the IAI Asia-Pacific Designers’ Union Academic Committee. Huang’s artworks have participated in more than ten national and international art exhibitions and design exhibitions. He has also won numerous awards and moreover his works have been collected by institutions such as the China National Art Gallery. Huang was the designer and artistic director for the China Pavilion at the 2005 World Exposition held in Aichi, Japan. In 2010, Huang was the head of design for the China Pavilion at the Shanghai World Exposition
